Choose the character of the entrance
Signet is ProVia’s most customizable entry-door family. Its fiberglass surfaces include Cherry, Mahogany, Oak, Knotty Alder and Fir wood-grain looks, plus a smooth option. Available panel styles and finishes can differ on the two faces of the door, so the exterior can complement the house while the inside suits your room.
Start with the architecture rather than a catalog page. Look at the proportions of your windows, porch and trim. A simple panel can feel right on one home; another calls for a stronger wood-grain texture or a carefully proportioned glass design. We narrow those choices before layering in accessories.
Look beneath the finish
Signet combines a foam-insulated core with hardwood stiles and rails joined at the corners. The hinge and strike areas provide the attachment points for the operating hardware. Those details help explain the construction, but performance still depends on the glass package, frame, threshold and complete installation.
We inspect the existing opening before specifying the replacement. A well-selected panel should not hide deteriorated framing, poor drainage or an uneven sill. The proposal should identify the door system and the work around it, including trim and any repairs, so you can compare the same scope.
Balance daylight and privacy
